Ghanaian dancehall artist Samini is leaving not stone unturned as he goes hard on his 6th studio album which is currently in the final production stages in the USA.
With a debut single New Style of the much anticipated album already out and selling on 26 music stores globally, including iTunes, Amazon, Deezer, CDBaby, eMusic, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Yandex, 7Digital, Tidal, Tradebit among others.
The full album would soon be available for pre-orders/purchases in at least 50 music stores across the world.
A very wild and creative video has already been shot for “New Style” which officially premiers at Samini’s plush restaurant and pub in Dansoman (Accra – Ghana) on Friday, August 14. The video was shot in various locations in the USA.
The 6th studio album titled “Breaking News” has a dense parade of seasoned and multi-award winning African Acts like Ice Prince, Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Sarkodie et al featured on the album.
Busy Signal and Cecile were the latest surprise inclusions on the “Breaking News” album by Samini. Both Jamaican dancehall artistes of international reputation were recently featured on separate joints by Samini.
Not much has been heard about Samini in Ghana this year after the 2015 VGMAs because he is very busy playing several gigs across America.
According to manager of Samini, Tony Pun (Anthony Daning) whose artist has been silent in Ghana after the 2015 VGMAs, his artist has been busy playing several gigs across America.
“We are due to play at least one or more shows in every State across the USA as part of promotional tour ahead of the official album release, due before December 2015. His latest concert was a charity show in Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford Street. USA, by Safe Water Network”, he said.
Samini rates as the most celebrated Ghanaian musician, in terms of awards – has won notable awards like MTV, Channel O, Ghana Music Awards et al with countless nominations in internally recognized award schemes.
Samini has rocked big concerts with international artistes like Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, Damian Marley, Busy Signal, Mavado, Demarco, among others.
