Sporty FM, a new 24-hour sports channel in Ghana has announced its full talent list.

At the helm of SportyFM is Gary Al-Smith, the acclaimed Ghanaian journalist recently appointed Regional Content Lead for Sporty Group in Ghana. Recognized as a thought leader in African sports journalism, Gary will lead this innovative project, supported by an all-star team, including legendary broadcaster Fiifi Banson and celebrated personalities such as Nathan Quao, Yaw Ofosu Larbi, Abigail Sena Sosu, Nana Asare Boadu, Raymond Nyamador, Kelvin Owusu-Ansah, Immortal Agyakwah-Acheampong, Enoch ‘Sergio Manucho’ Manu, Nana Akua Amankwaa and Kosi Fiaka.

SportyFM hopes to be the go-to destination for sports enthusiasts, offering live coverage of premier international sporting events such as the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Formula 1, athletics, boxing and the NBA.

At the same time, the station will spotlight local leagues, including the Ghana Premier League, ensuring that Ghanaian sports receive the attention and respect they deserve.
Listeners can look forward to expert commentary, in-depth analysis, and the best analysis of the betting markets, delivered in a way that has never been done before in Ghana.

Special segments will feature cross-platform connections, allowing renowned pundits from SportyTV—such as Victor Godfrey, Femi Farawe, KlintonCod, Sara Poraria, Alex Ashmore, Chigozie Brown, and Deon Kojoka, among others—to exchange insights with the acclaimed voices of SportyFM.

Sporty FM is set to begin full operations on 20th January 2025, marking a significant milestone in Sportybet’s expansion into the sports broadcasting space.

The station can be listened to via 106.1MHz, 102.5MHz and 91.3 MHz in Accra Takoradi and Kumasi respectively.
