Former Ningo-Prampram MP ET Mensah Dies Aged 77

Former Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency and former Council of State member, ET Mensah has died aged 77.

ET Mensah is said to have passed away in South Africa where he was receiving treatment. He had been battling ill-health for some time.

A member of the National Democratic Congress, E.T. Mensah served in various capacities as Minister for Education, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mayor of Accra and representative of the Council of State for the Greater Accra Region.

Enoch Teye Mensah (born 17 May 1946) served as a Member of Parliament in Ghana from January 1997 till January 2017.

He was popularly referred to as ET Mensah and was married with seven children.

This comes on the back of the demise of former First Lady Theresa Kufuor on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
