Former Member of Ghana’s Parliament for the Adenta constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Kojo Asare, has expressed interest in Priscilla Ofori Atta, aka Odo Broni, the widow of the late Daddy Lumba.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on December ’17, 2025, Kojo Asare praised Odo Broni, describing her as a very beautiful woman.
He also disclosed that he is currently unmarried and would be interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with her (Odo Broni) after she completes the traditional one-year widowhood rites following Daddy Lumba’s passing.
According to the former MP, if Odo Broni decides to get into another relationship after completing the required traditional rites, he believes he would be a suitable candidate to be considered.
“Odo Broni is an exceptionally beautiful woman. I admire her, especially her calm and gentle nature. I feel drawn to her and would like to pursue a meaningful relationship with her after she completes her widowhood rites. It’s not about marrying her to have children together; rather, I want to help raise her six children and also preserve Daddy Lumba’s legacy,” he stated.
The former legislator also criticised those who have attacked Odo Broni amid her public disagreement with Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, saying the insults directed at her were unfair.
Kojo Asare further disclosed that he desires to assist in raising her six children and contribute to preserving the legacy of the late music legend.
Odo Broni became the talk of the town following the demise of her husband, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumba, with many describing her as exceptionally beautiful, even after giving birth to 6 children.
@asempa_fmIn fact, Odo Broni is an exceptionally beautiful woman. I admire everything about her, especially her calm and gentle character. My heart is deeply drawn to her, and I wish to pursue a loving relationship with her after she has completed the kuna rites. Kojo Adu Asare expresses his sincere feelings of love for her. #Ekosiisen
