Accra is yet to enjoy the best of dances as Fullish Art present the Dance drama dubbed “Sole to Sole” in Ghana. The “Sole to Sole” concert will give a platform for traditional dance and hip-hop dances to face off on one big stage at Alliance Française on 26th June 2013.
“Sole to Sole” is aimed at bringing the back memories of all the dance moves that have fallen within the rhythms of Hip -hop and those of our traditional rhythms. These dances will be supported on the big stage with a sync of electronic beats and soothing rhythms from some traditional African drums.
Fullish Art believes there are some dances that shouldn’t be allowed to die off. We think Dancing is one good social norm that tells stories of our societies. It also expresses a feeling, and serves as entertainment to the dancer and the audience. Another important reason for “Sole to Sole” dance drama is to bring back some African traditional dances that many of the youth are not privileged to have seen.
When dance is combined with music, they scoop out the best feeling from people, and for that matter the concert will serve the audience dope musical performances from some of Ghana’s best emerging artists, @Lyricalwanzam and @Looneegh. In the Dj’s Booth will be Ghana’s youngest female dj and producer extraordinaire, @DJKeyzzz and @iambeatmenace respectively.
“Sole to Sole” is an initiative of Fullish, an events and management company, and supported by Alliance Française, CrymeRecords, www.yoyotinz.com, www.afroholic.com and YoyoTVGH.
