Just like many other Ghanaian musicians including Sarkodie, Jay So and Stonebwoy, CEO of Volta Regime Music, Edem has bemoaned the bad practice of blogs and fans alike leaking their intellectual materials.
The U Dey Craze hit maker ahead of the release of his new single Mighty Jesus which features Jay So with production credit to Ghanaian US based producer Coptic appealed to fans, bloggers and Africa not leak the material on any platform so they could gather legitimate data for future plans.
In a tweet, he said;
DEAR FANS,DEAR BLOGGERS,DEAR AFRICANS…PLS DO NOT LEAK MIGHTY JESUS….WE NEED THE LEGIT NUMBERS TO MAKE A,STRONG CASE OF NUMBERS AND LEGIT DATA PLS SUPPORT OUR AGENDA TO CHANGE THINGS AROUND HERE.

The tweet was backed by an input by Coptic who asked for support from blogs from Ghana and elsewhere.
“We need ur support. GH music does not have any real paperwork detailing very strong sales, we are trying to change that. Without such documentation, it’s very hard to get international backing 4 future artists.”
Dear Bloggers-Fans, please DO NOT LEAK-POST Edem’s – Mighty Jesus. We need ur support. GH music does not have any real paperwork detailing very strong sales, we are trying to change that. Without such documentation, it’s very hard to get international backing 4 future artists.

Prior to the release of Highest by Sarkodie months ago, he together with Jay So appealed to blogs not to leak the album so the right figures and data could be collected.
Last week, Stonebwoy also spoke bitterly of the unprofessional attitude exhibited by some of these blogs.
