Nigerian actress Temi Otedola has got the internet buzzing after announcing his marriage to musician and entrepreneur Mr Eazi.
In a short message that has got her social media followers talking, the actress who starred in Kunle Afolayan film Citation announced the release of Mr Eazi’s new album saying; “my husband dropped an album today.”
The tweet was no mere announcement as it coincided with the day her fiance, Mr Eazi released his new album, The Evil Genius.
The tweet which has generated over 1,300 comments has left people wondering when the two (Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi) got married.

In Season 3 Episode 5 of How Far? With Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola titled “Till Death Do Us Part“, Mr Eazi and Temi Tedola opened up about their wedding planning journey, offering an exciting first glimpse into the process. As a special treat, they welcomed their first-ever guest, the Storyteller and Spoken Word Poet, Suli Breaks.
Afropop superstar Mr Eazi released his new album, The Evil Genius on Friday, Oct. 27 via his label emPawa Africa.
Produced by Kel-P, the album showcases Mr Eazi’s personal exploration of themes like love, betrayal, loneliness, and family through three distinct acts. The project incorporates a diverse range of styles and influences, including Ghanaian highlife, grime, and gospel.
The album features guest appearances from Angelique Kidjo, Tekno, Efya, Whoisakin, Joeboy, and South Africa’s Soweto Gospel Choir. It also boasts an impressive lineup of contributing producers, such as Kel-P, Knucks, Michael Brun, M.O.G Beatz, Andre Vibez, Killbeatz, E Kelly, Type A, Yung Willis, Nonso Amadi, Phantom, KDream, and Mr Eazi himself.
In a groundbreaking fusion of African music and contemporary art, Mr Eazi commissioned visual artists from across the continent to create unique physical art pieces for each of the album’s 16 tracks. This ambitious pan-African art project, curated by Mr Eazi, has gained recognition from art-world figures like Marina Abramović and media outlets including ARTNews and The Guardian.
To accompany the album release, Mr Eazi has invited the public to experience the music alongside the art at multi-sensory exhibition listening experiences. The first two exhibitions took place in Accra, Ghana and London, and more activations will be announced soon.
The album cover art, created by renowned Nigerian stylist, designer, and photographer Daniel Obasi, draws inspiration from the composition and themes of The Last Supper and David’s prayer of Psalm 23. It reflects the central themes of love, hate, friendship, and betrayal explored in The Evil Genius.
Completing the album rollout, Mr Eazi has already released several singles including Legalize, Chop Time, No Friend, Advice, and Fefe Ne Fefe. The latest single, Exit, features the iconic South African vocal group, Soweto Gospel Choir, and its video was filmed atop South Africa’s legendary Drakensberg escarpment.
