Ahead of the main awards show tonight, the winner for the MTV Europe Music Awards Best African Act has been announced.
Davido who has had a really incredible year with two smash singles including If and Fall pulled a fast on his colleague nominees including country mate Wizkid, Babes Wodumo, Davido, C4 Pedro, Nasty C and Shinksi.
Davido who recently released a new single FIA thanked his fans for the award and dedicated it to his mom.
