Ghanaian rap artist Ko-Jo Cue believes legendary highlife artist Charles Kwadwo Fosu popularly known as Daddy Lumba is the greatest artist that ever lived.
According to him, no artist comes close to Daddy Lumba although the world places the late Michael Jackson above any other artist. This he believes is simply because a lot of foreigners (Whites) do not understand the mother tongue (Twi) in which Daddy Lumba plies his trade often.
Speaking in an interview with NY DJ on RYSENSHYNE via Y102.5FM, Ko-Jo Cue who is currently on a media run for his recently released 6-track EP, 21 Memory Lane said he was happy to have released the project a few days after the legend’s birthday.
“Had Daddy Lumba been born in any part of the world apart from Ghana, he would have been placed above Michael Jackson (maybe except stage performance). Daddy Luma is the greatest. The only challenge is that the whites don’t understand what he says,” he said.
21 Memory Lane is currently available online exclusively via Boomplay.
