Daddy Lumba is hitting the Garden City once again this Christmas.
For many who have long waited for Daddy Lumba, the time is here.
Ace highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu well-known as Daddy Lumba has announced he will launch his new album on December 24 2017 at Miklin Hotel in Kumasi during the Daddy Lumba Live In Concert.
The legendary Ghanaian act who has over the past three decades brought happiness and cheer to many through music made this known in a video made available to us.
Not only will Daddy Lumba share with the world nostalgic moments, he will also be joined by Bantama Kwasi Boakye hit maker Kofi B, Shatta Rako, Captain Planet (4×4) and Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.
Expected to be in attendance are top hierarchy personalities including Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, Ashanti Regional Major, Ashanti Regional Minister, a representation from Manhyia and possibly the distinguished Otumfour Osei Tutu II himself.
In 2015, Daddy Lumba performed 22 songs at the same concert and has promised to go beyond that this time.
Characteristic of him, Daddy Lumba has revealed he would be performing some of the new songs on the album which he would launch on the same day.
He is however tight-lipped on the title of the album, possible collaborations and number of tracks.
In 2014, Daddy Lumba released the popular acclaimed album Awoso which included the hit single Ye Nea Woho Beto Wo that won him worldwide praise and has over 22 albums to his credit.
