Winner of Gospel Album of the year at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Minister Cwesi Oteng is in for another set of glory as he leads the pack of nominations at the 2013 Africa Gospel Music Awards to be held at the Great Hall of the Queen Mary University in London, UK on Saturday 6th July 2013.
Nominated in five different categories Male Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Event of the Year and West African Artist of the Year, Cwesi Oteng stands tall among all other nominations despite stiff opposition from other great African Gospel Artists. Other Ghanaians nominated include Nacy, Herty Borngreat, Royal Priesthood and several others.
The AGMAs are an annual celebration and recognition of African Gospel music; uniting both current and legendary gospel artists from around the globe. This red carpet event celebrates its 4th anniversary this year and will feature energetic ministrations from highly talented musicians. Artistes include Tehila Crew (Nigeria), Cwesi Oteng (Ghana), Dena Mwana (DR Congo), Charisma Hanekam (South Africa), Jackie Mugabo (Rwanda/UK) and a host of others.
Various awards will be presented throughout the night to individuals and organisations voted for by the public and 4 AGMA special awards interspersed with vibrant, spirit lifting ministrations guaranteed to enthrall and inspire.
