Cheki Ghana Launches Road Safety Campaign Ahead of Christmas festivities
Ghana’s number 1 car website Cheki Ghana as part of its social responsibilities to the citizens of Ghana successfully launched its 2014 end of year road safety campaign at the Kumasi Kejetia Bus terminal, Thursday December 18 2014.
Speaking at the launch, Country Director for Cheki Ghana, Mr. Eric Amoako Twum explained his outfit (Cheki Ghana) was committed to ensuring safety on the roads and are ready to effortlessly support any initiative to curb road accidents.
He also explained Cheki Ghana’s initiative would not be a “nine day wonder” but would be a regular activity to constantly remind drivers of the need to remain cautious.
This is the first launch after a major launch in Accra last week.
Present were the Regional Manager for National Road Safety Commission, Mr. Thomas Bismark Boakye, Regional Motor Traffic and Trasnport Division Commander, Chief Superintendent peter Gyimah and Transport Manager for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Mr. Randy Wilson.
Drivers present were enthused about the education as they openly interacted with the police and the authorities present.
