‘Co-habits’, a romantic Ghanaian sitcom has been nominated for the Best Comedy Series at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2023.
The nomination was announced in a short ceremony hosted by Bisola Aiyeola and Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
The sitcom which features the award-winning media personality and host of Asaase Café, Caroline Sampson, follows the story of a young couple (Kay – Fiifi Coleman and Lily-Caroline Sampson) who navigate side-splitting reality checks when they decide to test-drive their marriage by discreetly co-habiting to reduce their chances of divorce.
What ensues are funny situations and occurrences that threaten the foundation of their relationship.
Directed by Peter Sedufia (Sidechic Gang), the sitcom also stars Jeffery Nortey, Jackie Ankrah and the Canadian-born Ghanaian actress, Hailey Sumney.
Currently showing on Akwaaba Magic and Showmax, Co-habits first premiered in January 2022.
