Bullet is ready to speak to allegations of not rendering proper accounts and keeping some monies to himself.
It’s been months since we first broke news on the passing of Ghanaian female dancehall artist Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony but it seems she’s yet to find peace in her ‘sleep’.
Ever since her demise, her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has accused Bullet, former manager of Ebony of one offence or the other.
Starting with suggestions that Bullet had a hand in the death of her daughter, Nana Opoku Kwarteng raised issues about Bullet receiving the VGMA Awards on behalf of daughter, unaccounted cash donations etc.
The latest however is an accusation that he (Nana Opoku Kwarteng) was offered only GHC2000 from monies realised after the tribute concert held in honour of Ebony. Backing his utterances with a tall list of personalities who were allegedly paid for participating in the concert, Ebony’s father smells something fishy and is willing to go all out for her departed daughter.
However, Bullet, who is yet to respond to any of the allegations has revealed there is a lot more to the allegations and falsehood being peddled by Nana Opoku Kwarteng.
In a post on Facebook, he writes”
“I have observed with keen interest the interviews being granted by the father of the late Ebony concerning her daughter’s time with Ruff Town Records whilst she was alive. I have also received scads of messages from the media asking me about my side of the story.”
He explains his silence has been due to the fact that he’s been out of the country but is willing to open the can of worms upon his arrival in Ghana.
“I would be in Ghana in few days and I am ever ready for media interviews on it. I have a mansion full of deep things to reveal.I mean deep deep things.”
A number of musicians who allegedly took monies before performing at the tribute concert include Edem, Raquel, Captain Planet, R2Bees, Keche and others have all denied taking monies for the said concert.
It is quite clear Bullet and Nana Opoku Kwarteng have never been ‘cool’ but Nana Opoku Kwarteng in a recent interview expressed shock at the turn of events saying “ I didn’t know my relationship with Bullet had gone that bad.”
This came up after Bullet who seemed tired of all the media rants and accusations in a statement revealed he was willing to hand over all unreleased songs of Ebony to her dad.
