Ace Hip life artist and President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice osei Kuffour otherwise known as Obour has debunked media reports that suggest that the GHC 2 million Ghana cedis allocated to the association by the government of Ghana was ONLY used for a research.

He explained that although a majority of the allocated money was used in conducting the research, over GHC 500, 000 was also used in organizing the Ghana Music Week whereas the remaining was used for capacity building for members of MUSIGA and MUSIGA Peace Campaign which was organized prior to the elections.

In an interview with Charles Asare on Angel FM in Kumasi, Obour further explained that an audited report had been made available to the Ministry of Finance and could also be accessed at the MUSIGHA offices.

In a related development, Obour also disclosed he has no intentions of running for the presidency of the Ghana Music Right Owners (GHAMRO) considering the challenges the organization has faced recently and would also run for presidency at MUSIGHA should the wife allow him.

Obour also talked about the amount of money raised at the recently held ball and how the association intends to use the money generated.
