I’m tempted to believe the chiefs up North are ready to dish out musical titles and so I’m making arrangements to visit.
Anyway, I don’t know which musical title is left yet in the Northern Region of Ghana as dancehall artist Samini has just been enskinned by his royal highness Mohamed Alhasan Dawuni as a “Yilanaa” by the which translates as “King of Music”.
This comes days after BET Award winner Stonebwoy was also en-skinned by the Paramount Chief of Tamale, Gukpegu Naa (Naa Alhaji Abdulai) as a “Sapashini” which means a dancehall warrior.
Samini happily shared the news via his Instagram page.
Samini and his team including colleague musicians Kofi Kinata, Kaakie are in Northern Region of Ghana for the Tamale Salafest.
