Sarkodie is gradually becoming a demigod who is adored and worshipped by most fans as for the second time in the artist’s career, a fan made him weep on stage.
Sarkodie on the 24th of May 2014 shed tears on stage at the Ghana meets Naija concert when a female fan who was determined to express his unflinching love for the artist’s craft defied all security protocol at the event to mount the stage just to bow and “worship” Ghana’s fastest rapper and BET Award winner Sarkodie.
Sarkodie who looked stunned at the gesture began to shed tears and as a result had to halt his performance for a while.
This is the second time Sarkodie has shed tears because of his fans. The first incidence was at the nominees jam for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in Tamale where the fans’ response to his music made his weep.
Some few months back, Sarkodie explained why he normally wore dark spectacles on stage saying, the response from his fans anytime he performs awes him and he gets to share tears.
I think recent events have finally proven that it is true and not that he was only finding reasons for wearing dark spectacles.
