MC Lyte is not gay after all.

For years, rapper turned voice of every black award show MC Lyte has been associated with the same kind of gay rumors as Queen Latifah.

Well this weekend Lyte surprised fans and followers when she revealed that after years of being single God has finally sent her true love.

The rap legend posted a picture of herself and her new beau, who she could only describe as a gift from God.

Yep. What a mighty good man indeed.

What can I say, except thank you Lord!! It’s been a long time, this singe life, and I thank you all for your prayers and kind words of hope. God has sent me true love. For all of you waiting on LOVE- don’t give up – keep God first and he will see that you meet your match. #godisall
