The three-time MOBO Award-winning star has sold over million-plus records, achieved five UK Top 10 Chart hit singles and been a near-permanent fixture on the BBC Radio 1 playlist.
Not to mention the fact he has been nominated for an MTV EMA award and collaborated with artists such as Sean Paul, Wyclef and Major Lazer. The dancehall remix of Major Lazer’s “Light It Up” which features the vocals of Fuse ODG, has over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone. The song attained international success in Europe and Oceania and peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking ODG’s first entry on the chart.
Earlier this year Fuse ODG’s Gold-selling UK Top 10 hit single “Antenna” made a huge resurgence, becoming the number one trending sound on the TikTok UK Hot 50 Chart off the back of a dance challenge, also being used by the likes of TikTok superstar, Jeremy Lynch and Premier League footballer, Raheem Sterling.
Speaking of the trending single, James Underwood, head of music content, strategy & operations at TikTok Europe stated; “From the UK to Thailand, we love seeing the diverse mix of artists that give rise to new trends on TikTok. If we look at Fuse ODG who made his name in the UK afrobeats scene, he’s a brilliant example of a talented artist whose music is reaching new audiences on TikTok.”
Recently performing to a packed crowd at Africa Oyé 2022 in Liverpool, Fuse ODG is still making waves in the music scene. His newest collaboration “Back To The Streets,” with Drum & Bass DJs and producers Origin8a & Propa, Benny Page, received multiple plays on BBC Radio 1, with playlist adds on KISS Dance and KISS Fresh and further skyrocketing up to No.2 on the new Music Week Black Music Chart.
Now Fuse ODG is back with his infectious upbeat Afrobeats single “What It Do.”
