Perhaps one of the earliest impressions left by one of the attendants of the 2018 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Ghana, celebrated Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has spoken highly of Ghana.
The Oscars voting Academy member in a post on Instagram expressed surprise over reality that Ghana’s currency, Cedi stands tall over that of her motherland Nigeria, Naira.
Not too sure, she wondered how Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) she changed could equate to only One Hundred and Twenty Cedis (GHC120).
She wouldn’t speak about Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport since 2Face Idibia had already spoken highly of it and called on the Nigerian government to wake up from their slumber.
Ghana’s airport since the upgrade has received high praise from many who have used the terminal.
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde made this observation after her recent visit to Ghana for the 2018 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Okay… So Economists , come and analyze oh… this Amongst other things was quite alarming on my trip to Ghana. Hmm… I changed N10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) and it was only worth ….. C120 ( One hundred and twenty cedis) Not C1,200 and certainly not 12,000 cedis but a mere 120 cedis!!! 1 dollar in ghana is 4.8 cedis ! #Ghanamustgo and they have Gone, are they moving faster than us? I don’t want to talk about the airport , Tubaba has already talked about that but I forgot both my phones while signing the immigration cards, about 10mins later, it was announced to pick them up at guest services! Ha! #GiantofAfrica ? #Getbusy #Getbusy #Getbusy 😓😓😓. Abi? I’m I missing something?
