Enough of the name calling.
Ghanaian actress and TV presenter Nana Ama McBrown also known as Empress will soon keep critics shut as she intends settling with her boyfriend of many years Maxwell in April 2016.
According to Showbiz, McBrown the actress, film producer and film director is elated about the news and can’t wait to wear the wedding ring.
“Yeah, I am getting married this year and I am super excited about it. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this and the time is finally here,” she said.
Although many would expect a huge wedding, Nana Ama McBrown intends to keep it on the low.
“It is going to be a very private affair because that is how I want it. I don’t want a big wedding as many would expect. Being the kind of person I am, I will need a venue as big as the Accra Sports Stadium if I really want a big wedding but mine is going to be pretty much just family. That’s what we’ve decided to do.”
She however pleads with her fans to understand her on the decision to make it private.
“I love my fans a lot and appreciate them but they would have to bear with me on this one.”
The pair has been subjected to lot of criticism especially on social for their public display of affection but should all go as planned, the two will finally settle as man and wife.
Earlier, speculations were ripe that Nana Ama McBrown’s family were not enthused with her decision to settle with Maxwell reason being that Maxwell is younger than she is.
This will be the first time the actress will say ‘Yes I Do’ to any man aside her roles in movies although reports suggested she was married to Nana Wiafe Akenteng, chief of Hemen in the Ashanti Region.
In 2008, Nana Ama McBrown denied news of getting married to the said chief saying the farthest she ever got to marriage was the knocking stage.
Congrats in advance to the two. Hope to receive an invitation soon.
