DJ Mensah could well pass for an officer at The Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate if what Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com gathers is anything to go by.
Multiple award winning Ghanaian Disc Jock who doubles as official DJ for Africa’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie, DJ Mensah took many by surprise as he took to the streets of East Legon to help direct traffic.
The very quiet and reserved DJ who carefully directed motorists in the highly congested areas of East Legon received the applause of many but also wondered what could have called for his intervention.
In an exclusive interview with Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com, DJ Mensah revealed he took up a challenge by iSocial, a television programme that dares celebrities to take up some social responsibilities hence the trending pictures of him directing traffic.
He however explained it was fun and a great experience as well as he well appreciates the work of the MTTD.
