The best story teller of all time in the Ghanaian music industry Jerry Anaaba well known as Okomfour Kwadee has finally put an end to the growing feud over who the real King of dancehall music in Ghana is by dropping a brand new single titled Bust Up.
Okomfour Kwadee who has had a good come back with his tune Di Kan Ko which features MadTime Records artist Kwaw Kese prior to the release of his new dancehall track disclosed in an exclusive interview with www.nydjlive.com that although the artists in conttention of that dancehall king ‘crown’ are doing very well, none could really match up to him although he had not paid so much attention to the genre.
“If you have paid attention to all my albums, I had at least a dancehall track on each of them even before dancehall msuci blew up here in Ghana and I don’t do likkle bois demma dancehall. I speak the language of dancehall and that is Patois and not pidgen or any other coined language as the others are doing now”, he stated.
Furthering his case, Okomfour Kwadee advised the artists working with that genre to study their craft carefully so as to make it more profitable than just serving Ghanaians who he believes have a good taste for music with just any material.
Asked if he would ‘fight’ for that title, Okomfour stated he was too big for that and would rather hsis songs proved a case.
Okomfour Kwadee has promised to release a single track each month.
