Reliable information gathered by www.nydjlive.com indicates that three time nominee and 2007 national best radio sports commentator Acorstic Asante is set to make a huge come back to radio two years after going silent due to ill health.
Acorstic, who until his retreat on the sports scene in 2011 was one of the popular sports presenters in Ghana and worked with Kumasi based Angel Fm where he carved a niche for himself as one of the favourites the nation had witnessed and continuously excelled in his unique way of presentation.
Acorstic started his radio journey with Dormaa fm some 11 years ago, then to Gift fm, Adom fm, Peace/hello fm and finally to Angel fm.
Although he had been silent and recuperating, Acorstic who doubled as a movie and music producer managed to release fifteen movies with his production house.
It is yet to be confirmed if Acorstic would join his former station but our information indicates he might be joining Fox fm or one of the new stations yet to start transmission in Kumasi.
