On Thursday, July 3, 2025, Her Honour, Evelyne E. Asamoah of the Circuit Court 10 in Ghana, Accra, handed down a 15-year prison sentence with hard labour to the popular evangelist, Patricia Asiedua, alias Nana Agradaa.
In the now-popular case, The Republic Vs Patricia Asiedua, alias Nana Agradaa, the accused was convicted of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement.
The court sentenced her as follows:
Count 1 – 25 penalty units or, in default, 30 days
Count 2 – 15 years imprisonment with hard labour
Count 3 – 15 years imprisonment with hard labour
The sentence runs concurrently.
