Nominees for the Unsung Category at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards have been revealed.
The nominees include Romeo Swag, Kojo Vypa, Kaesa, Ess Thee Legend, Yaw Darling, and Fad Lan.
The winner of the Unsung category will have the opportunity to perform at the main awards event scheduled for May 3, 2025.
The Unsung category, a partnership with the British Council’s SoCreative E-Learning Initiative, seeks to augment the support for upcoming artistes.
The SoCreative E-learning program aims to equip artists and music business professionals with Creative Enterprise business skills. The programme delivers a collection of free courses for the next generation of aspiring and early-stage young African creative leaders in the music industry, amongst others, to support them through their business journey.
Several events will be organised before the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards. These include the nominee jam, the TGMA Masterclass, and the TGMA Pre-Party.
