Sarkodie’s ‘Try Me’ Restored To Apple Music And Spotify

Try Me, a new single by Ghanaian rap artist Sarkodie has been restored to the Apple Music and Spotify stores.

The restoration comes days after it was removed from the stores for reasons unknown to many.

Released on June 29, 2023, Try Me, seems to respond to pregnancy and abortion allegations by Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson captured in her memoir “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.

The memoir gives a step-by-step account of how the actress had to resort to abortion because Sarkodie was not ready for it.

The rap artist in Try Me also seems to tell his side of the story detailing how promiscuous Yvonne was hence not accepting the pregnancy.

The song has since its release been met with mixed reactions as many believe Sarkodie could have ignored Yvonne Nelson over the allegations.

Others also believe Sarkodie deserved to talk his truth regardless of how he told it.
