It seems all is not well between Kaywa and Mr Drew.
Music producer and CEO of Highly Spiritual Music, David Kojo Kyei, also known as Kaywa seems not impressed with an appreciation post by his former signee Mr Drew.
Following confirmation of his exit from Highly Spiritual Music weeks ago, E Choke hitmaker, Mr Drew took to social media where he expressed his appreciation for his former label boss, Kawya and the label, for their contribution to his career.
In the post, he wrote;
“An appreciation post to Papa @kaywabeatz and @highlyspiritualmusic for working with me to make an impact with my talent… I am most grateful for everything you have done for me as an artist and a son… Even though my time on the label has ended we are still family and I cherish that dearly… God bless you 🫶🏾”
However, Kaywa seems least impressed with the social media appreciation.
In a post that has since gone viral, the label boss shared an innuendo that many including us believe is in response to the post by Mr. Drew.
The post reads; “Gratitude goes beyond Instagram post! Your deeds should show also!”
It is immediately unknown what exactly could be going on between the two but it’s clear, all is not well.
Days ago, Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com reported on the exit of two major artists (Mr Drew and Lasmid) from the label.
Following the report, Kaywa also announced four new addition to his label.
The new talents include Shuga Lord, Joe Vibe, Joy Verse and Cadeen.
