4×4 Has Been Irrelevant For The Past 3 Years – Captain Planet

Comfortably seated at the top of musical charts across the country with his monster hit single Obi Agye Obi Girl, Ghanaian musician and member of legendary music group 4×4, Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey well known as Captain Planet has revealed 4×4 has been irrelevant for the past 3 years.

The musician in a very open interview with Trigmatic on the Myd Morning Radio Show on YFM explained although the group had released a number of songs in the past three years, the buzz around the songs were not too impressive.

Speaking on rumours that the once vibrant music group 4×4 had collapsed, Captain Planet explained the decision to record solo projects was another means of keeping the group moving.

“….Just look at R2Bees. Mugeez has big songs he recorded alone and so is Paedae. This keeps them going and not to suggest they are breaking up. That’s the exact situation 4×4 finds itself…”

Since taking on a solo part, Captain Planet has released a number of singles including I’m Blessed, Respeck, Sangbelebe and the new monster hit Obi Agye Obi Girl.

Obi Agyi Obi Girl which features Kofi Kinaata talks about how painful it is when one’s girlfriend is snatched from him and how enjoyable it is when someone takes another person’s girlfriend.
