The nominees for this year’s MOBO awards have been announced, with Stormzy, Sampha and Skepta all up for best male act.
The list above was announced earlier by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
Stormzy‘s debut album Gangs, Signs & Prayer went to number one, while Sampha‘s album Process won the Mercury Prize.
Ghanaian rap artist Sarkodie who recently released the Highest album bagged a nomination for Best African Act. He was nominated alongside Mr. Eazi, Davido, Wizkid, Eugy, Julz, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Wande Coal, Maleek Berry and others.
The event, which celebrates the best in urban music, will return to Leeds’ First Direct Arena on 29 November.
